iPhone 6S/6S+ Backlight Coil (Selfie Flash/L4021/L4051)

This is a replacement Backlight Coil for the iPhone 6S, and 6S Plus.

The coil is used specifically for front facing “selfie” flash. This coil is commonly damaged from an event causing a short on the anode line, such as spontaneous short of a capacitor.

The coil can also be damaged during the connection and disconnection of LCD Screen during repair, without prior disconnection of the battery.

Failure is often observed as a lack of front facing “flash”, a momentary boost provided to the backlight. The coil loses inductance resulting in a lower boost voltage on the Anode line.
