Access to this Website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Services without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any given time. Sell My Apple reserves the right to restrict access to some parts or this entire Website.

  1. What do we do with your information?


When you purchase the items from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, uploaded document and email address.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you promotional emails about our products and other updates.

  1. How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to us collecting the information and using the information for that specific reason only.


If we ask for your personal information for secondary reasons, such as marketing and promotion, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent with an option decline.


  1. How do I withdraw my consent?
If you change your mind after your expressed consent, you may withdraw your consent from us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime. You can request for us to stop sending you e-newsletters, promotional emails or collecting your data at any given time.


  1. Payment
When direct payment gateway is chosen as the method of payment, details on your credit card is temporary stored. The information is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your credit card and personal details are only stored for the necessary timeframe needed to complete your purchase transaction. Once the transaction is completed, your purchase transaction information is deleted.


All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.


PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.


In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services that they provide to us.


However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

In order to access some features of the Site, you will have to create an account. You must submit a valid e-mail address and select a password and user name (Sell My Apple username) during the registration process. You may never use another's account without permission. When creating your account, you must provide accurate and complete information. Failure to do so shall constitute a breach of the Terms of Use, which may result in immediate termination of your Sell My Apple account.

You shall not:

·         (i) select or use as a Sell My Apple username a name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person;

·         (ii) use as a Sell My Apple username a name subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization; 

·         (iii) Use as a Sell My Apple username a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene.


Sell My Apple reserves the right to refuse registration of, or cancel a Sell My Apple username in its sole discretion. You are solely responsible for activity that occurs on your account and shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Sell My Apple password. You shall never use another user's account without such other user's express permission. You will immediately notify Sell My Apple in writing of any unauthorized use of your account, or other account related security breach of which you are aware.

Our general return policy requires that you contact us about any concern within 24 hours of receiving the product or service. After the 24 hours period, we reserve the right to decline your refund or exchange request.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that it was sent and received by you. It must also be in the original packaging.

For health and safety reasons, we do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

  1. Partial refund: (if applicable)

In some cases, we may grant a partial refund at our discretion. These cases may include but not limited to the following

  • Computer, mobile phone, camera and any accessories that have been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  1. Refunds (if applicable)
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If your refund is approved, the specified amount will be credited back to your original method of payment unless prior agreed. Please allow up to 5 working days for the refund to be processed.
  • We will notify you once your refund has been processed.

  1. Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
  • If you believe your refund is late, please first check with your bank or financial service provider.
  • In certain cases, it may take longer than expected for your credited amount to show up due to the handling process of your bank or financial service provider.
  • If you’ve done all you can about your refund, please contact us at sellmyap@sellmyapple.co.nz and we will look into the matter for you.

  1. Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace item(s) that are defective, damaged or incorrect to the item(s) you ordered upon you receiving the item(s).We do not exchange items for change of mind. Please choose carefully before ordering.
